Intact facsimile of the rough draught of the Declaration of Independence at the rear of volume IV. Two with inscribed ownership by Virginia attorney and politician Briscoe G. Baldwin (1789-1852) of Staunton.
Very good condition for this set, one front cover partially detached, losses to two spine labels, one with split at front hinge, pages are tight with light to moderate foxing/toning.
