THOMAS JEFFERSON THREE-VOLUME PARTIAL SET, "Memoir, Correspondence, and Miscellanies From the Papers of Thomas Jefferson", edited by Thomas Jefferson Randolph, volumes I, II, and IV, Charlottesville: F. Carr and Co., 1829. Quarter brown cloth with gray paper over boards and printed paper title labels on the spines, as originally issued. Intact facsimile of the rough draught of the Declaration of Independence at the rear of volume IV. Two with inscribed ownership by Virginia attorney and politician Briscoe G. Baldwin (1789-1852) of Staunton.
Very good condition for this set, one front cover partially detached, losses to two spine labels, one with split at front hinge, pages are tight with light to moderate foxing/toning.
