Description
Circa 1835, Edgefield, South Carolina likely by Dave. The vessel having very precise form with throwing ridge at upper body flanked by two thick pulled and applied handles which are centered by four slash marks alongside two impressed lines all above an ovoid lower body with alkaline glaze. The spout is broken away and has been buffed down to continue use. Some small glaze flaws but overall good condition with no cracks. H17"
