qing dynasty (1644-1911)
each with shaped crestrail with upswept ends supported on continuous posts with flanges forming the rear legs, the back splat with a carved roundel, the square seat above a beaded, shaped apron, S-shaped arms supported by curved stiles and posts, legs joined by stepped stretchers and the footrest.
Height 45 x width 22 x depth 17 1/8 inches.
