Description
Solidly potted comprising a square form lower body with canted shoulder rising to a upper bulb section, each of the lower panels alternately enclosing a dragon and phoenix amidst flaming clouds, the shoulder and upper bulb further decorated with phoenix, the foot decorated with a ruyi lappet band, all incised and painted in yellow enamel on a rich iron-red ground, a six-character Wanli mark in underglaze blue beneath the rim, 17 inch high.
