29-1/2" tall early child doll with beautiful complexion featuring pale bisque, well-contrasted red cheeks, gorgeous pale blue threaded eyes and pierced earlobes, incised on back of head with the "SCH 7" mark. Mounted to a French wood and composition body with black "SCH" stamped in a shield on the flat buttocks. The clothing is antique with lace overlay dress, white children's shoes with a newer, well-made white sheepskin wig over a cork pate. There is a little bit of a wig pull/firing speckling on upper head. The body is assembled with the upper arms, torso and upper legs being original, while the lower arms, hands, and lower legs are antique but appear more in the style of Jumeau and have a different patina.
