Attractive unmarked 14" doll with characteristics of Jumeau from the early 1880's with bisque swivel head on separate shoulder. The eyes are a striking blue, bisque is very pale with blushed cheeks, outlined and shaded mouth, blond human hair wig and pierced earrings that dangle. Shoulder is mounted on an all-white kid body with individually stitched fingers and gusset joints at elbows, hips and knees. Toes are outlined but not separated. The doll has been elaborately re-costumed in a two piece walking dress of teal silk with scalloped material on the hem and a big blue bow in the back. The undergarments are antique cotton and embroidered wool. She has no shoes. Some wear and discoloration to the body, particularly the hands, but no series rusting of the fingers.
