Iconic early German doll incised "102", size 12, often attributed to Kestner, with swivel neck, multi-stroked eyebrows, brown glass eyes, pierced ears, open mouth with square-cut teeth set far back and hard to see, lip shading strokes, chubby cheeks, mohair wig appears original, partial plaster pate. Five-piece body with shaded molded breasts, jointed shoulders with "wrestler" arms, jointed hips with footwear: molded white hose, blue garters, desirable yellow boots with black V insets, five straps and heels. Lovely appropriate dropped waist satin and lace dress with matching hat. The index finger is tipped, hardly noticeable. In apparently excellent condition though clothing has not been entirely removed. Stunning doll, exceptional in every way! Condition: Dimensions: 8-1/2" T.
