Description

A group of 4 keys: (1) very early J. L. Howard with EL & 3151 on the front (2) ERIE spelled out in a straight line in tiny lettering on a Pennsy bit (3) B&S - Buffalo & Susquehanna (4) BR&P is undersized with Bohannan hallmark.

8/25/18 - just got word from well known Key authority Kent Sprecher that there are some bogus keys in this auction. I'll update each lot accordingly. What follows in Kent's email to me:

Hi Scott: Nice looking auction upcoming. I did find four fake keys made from exConrail keys. They probably date to the 1980s when several people were cranking them out. One guy made big letters usually in a row and he was fond of any railroad with a P; UP, SP, NP,MP, CP, GP, TP +C&O, B&0, DH and more. The odd spaced C&NW was probably his work. Another guy used small letters like your ERIE RR & L&NRR keys. Others commonly seen are SOURR , B&ORR, C&ORR. Many others exist
