Description
Dominic Rouse is an English photographer born in 1959. He started his career as a photojournalist in at the age of 16 and opened his first commercial studio ten years later. In 1996 he bought his first computer and started working digitally on personal projects, ending his association with the commercial/advertising world and commissioned work.
Redolent with nostalgia, 'Dead man's Hill' is one of the artist's early digital compositions which displays the strong influence of his advertising roots.
'Dead Man's Hill' is the name of the incline which the train is climbing as it approaches the little village station of Weybourne in the South East of England in the summer of 1999.
