Country people feasting on the banks of a river, including the married couple at the head of a covered table on the right, the woman raising her glass in a toast, the man holding a jug, an older couple sitting together on the left, a woman holding a tambourine, with a large tree behind in the centre and buildings visible above trees to left, a small round classical temple in the background to right; in a roundel; after Zuccarelli; plate 34 from an unidentified series. 1775. Lettered below the image with the title in English and French. Published and Sold by Frans, Vivares, According to Act of Parliament November 21st, 1775. 2- "The Rural Italian's Ball". A couple dancing in a dell on the banks of a river, accompanied by a woman with a tambourine and a man with a pipe under a tree to left, other country people sitting around, a man sleeping with his head in a woman's lap on the right, another couple approaching to join the dance in the left foreground, a view of a church on a hill and other buildings in the background; in a roundel; after Zuccarelli; plate 35 from an unidentified series. 1775.
