David Hockney (b.1937), lithograph designed as a gift for participants in a Metropolitan premiere performance of An Evening of French Music Theater, February 20, 1981, comprising the ballet 'Parade', followed by two operas. Sets and costumes by David Hockney; conductor Manuel Rosenthal. Lithographs were signed and dedicated, with the dedicatee's name hand-painted on the front, 'A Souvenir of a Triple Bill for…'. Lithograph numbered 108/300. 16 1/2" x 21 1/2" (sight), frame 24 3/4" x 29 5/8". Provenance: Spencer, Massachusetts collection.
