Description
The Airdry Corporation of Groton, New York were the first to patent the idea in 1921, and were the first to bring this freestanding item to market in 1928 even though Chicago's George Clemens often gets credit, notwithstanding that his idea was nearly 30 years late. Users have a foot pedal to trigger the hot air from the vertically adjustable nozzle. The cast iron body and marquee holder are nicely painted including pinstripe detailing. The paper marquee has some slight staining. A great rare nicely done machine. Condition: (Restored). Dimensions: 15"L x 13-1/4"W x 54-1/2"T.
