Description
A children's tools chest or "The Standard Boys Tool Chest" manufactured by Price Bros & Co. N.Y. in the early 20th century. It is housed in wood, containing a single interior tool tray and various tools- including rulers, a measuring tape, Hexagon lumber crayons, a hammer, a mallet, a bevel, etc.. The lithograph underneath the lid reads "Containing Assorted Tools" and features a patriotic graphic in the colors of red, white and blue but displays moderate soiling. Overall, there is heavy wear throughout the exterior and on the tools due to age and use but a great piece of Americana. Condition: (Fair - Good). Dimensions: 6"T x 15"W x 8"D.
