German WW2 Luftwaffe German Air Force Flugerinnerungsabzeichen Pilot Commemorative Badge.
The badge was introduced in 1936 and issued for honourable discharge to flying personnel who previously received Luftwaffe badges i.e. aerial gunner, observer in the line of duty. In the case of death, the Next Of Kin could receive this award as well. This is unmarked version.
REFERENCE: Order Ehrenzeichen 1800 - 1945, by Jorg Nimmergut, 2003/2004, item 4023, valued 1750.00 euro or $2205. (14 years ago !!). Few years ago Manion auction sold this badge for $1800 - lot #5608944.
