Typographic notes and indication of edition from the title page of the first volume. Nice woodcut initials, headpieces and endpieces. Text on 2 columns. Good copy with mostly pages browned.

Interesting work of the Dominican theologian, professor at Arles, Grenoble, Lyon and Rome, who intervened decisively in the Jansenist controversy to obtain from Cardinal Noailles his acceptance of the Bolla Unigenitus, promulgated in 1713 by Pope Clement XI to condemn the heresy of Jansenism .
