A VERY RARE ISLAMIC MUGHAL INSCRIBED WHITE JADE PENDENT (HALDILI) WITH SILVER MOUNT, INDIA CIRCA POSSIBLY 18TH/19TH CENTURY. Of an Extremely Fine White Jade , With Great Islamic Religious Calligraphy Inscribed on the Jade , Probably Of Chinese Origin White Jade Made for the Mughal Empire, A Very Rare & High Quality White Chinese jade. Of Round shape, and Carved on the back of the Jade, the jade surface carved and inscribed of extremely elegant nasta'liq with occasional floral flourishes, the centered with ALLAH-o-Akbar as usually used in mughal coins, rimmed with silver through the round circle to a mid to late 19th century silver mount decorated in repoussé with a floral spray issuing flowerheads and fleshy leaves.
