A HAND CARVED AFRICAN BLACKWOOD EAGLE HEAD ON BASE, PROBABLY EAST AFRICA, LATE 20TH CENTURY, the realistically carved Eagle head with prominent hooked bill in closely grained dense black to brown colored African Blackwood supported by a diamond form stem, mounted on a similarly colored burl wood rectangular base with flaring sides. Height: 11" Width: 11 3/4" Depth: 7 3/4"

Condition

In overall good gently used condition with minor dryness and fading of wood.
