A PAIR OF ART DECO CELADON JADE PHOENIX, QING DYNASTY (1644-1912)/REPLUBLIC OF CHINA (1912-1949), the translucent pale green jade with small black inclusions is carved in the form of birds perched on branches, their crowning feathers carved to reveal a yellowish brown russet coloring. Height: 9 3/4" Diameter: 3 1/2"
Condition
There are some minor chips mostly near the tail, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
