Description
West Africa, Burkina Faso, Lobi peoples, ca. early 20th century CE. An abstract iron creation, in the form of a standing, anthropomorphic figure. The figure has a long, rectangular torso, elongated limbs, and stands in a hunched posture, with the flat feet spread wide. The Lobi are known for their distinctive, abstract metal figures. Size: 1.35" W x 5.1" H (3.4 cm x 13 cm); 6.05" H (15.4 cm) on included custom stand.
