Surface dirt; toning of the varnish layer; relined; retained original stretcher bars; areas of inpainting upper left (trees); mid-left (trees/leaves surrounding putti and to the right) and lower left (dark area between the two putti); areas of inpainting upper left (sky) lower center (brown area to right of Adonis). Modern gilt frame with surface marks, nicks and abrasions; losses along edges and upper right (cliff).
