Condition
In very good refinished and restored condition. The piece exhibits normal wear, shrinkage and
indications of age and use.
The base is sturdy and solid. Some of the drawers are in need of regluing at the dovetails, but function
fine while in the case.
There is evidence that the bonnet top is an old, later addition, possibly employing a period top, and
utilizing hand-wrought rosehead nails consistent with those elsewhere on the piece.
