Description
Two color prints in handsome ebonized ornate picture frames: I. QUEEN'S AUDIENCE CHAMBER, WINDSOR CASTLE II. THE QUEEN'S PRESENCE CHAMBER, WINDSOR CASTLE. Both color prints were made from original watercolors prepared for William Henry Pyne's History of the Royal Residences (1816-1819).

Both color prints were made from original watercolors prepared for William Henry Pynes History of the Royal Residences (1816-1819). Engraved by W. J. Bennett, 1817/1818. They reproduce images viewed from the royal apartments in Windsor Castle, one of the premier royal residences, as seen in pre thru Victorian times. The artist, Charles Wild (1781-1835), was an English watercolor artist, known as a specialist in architecture.
