ASSORTED ANTIQUE GLASS PAPERWEIGHTS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, comprising a sulphide example depicting a Victorian lady being flanked by lampwork green laurel decoration above polychrome mottled ground, and a bisected (in two pieces) fruit bouquet over a latticinio ground. Various makers. Fourth quarter 19th/first half 20th century. Sulphide: 3 1/4" D, Bisected: 2 3/4" D when together.
Sulphide with a sizeable interior crack, fruit in two pieces with chipping to the top edge.
Provenance: Property deaccessioned by The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, to benefit the collections fund.
