GERMAN MEISSEN EUROPA AND THE BULL PORCELAIN FIGURE, polychrome depiction of Europa sitting on a white bull, who is Zeus transformed, flanked by two other women figures kneeling and sitting, adorned by flowers, scrolled accents around the base, after model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein circa 1748. Hand-brushed blue crossed swords mark to base with incised "2627" and impressed "101" numerals. Second half 19th/first quarter 20th century. 8 1/2" HOA.
