CONTINENTAL FIGURAL PORCELAIN INKSTAND, comprising two covers with figures of children having polychrome decoration and gilded accents, one with ovoid base and one with square base, each with two attached wells having molded faces to the sides including sander and inkwell inserts. Unmarked. Possibly Conta and Boehme. Second half 19th century. 6 1/2" HOA, base 5 3/4" x 4 1/4" and 5" HOA, base 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".
One undamaged, one with glued chair, some loss of enamel decoration to both, one cover and base with firing separation, as made.
