NEWARK, NEW JERSEY NURSURY RHYME STERLING SILVER PORRINGER, embossed nursery rhyme illustration around the exterior having a central cartouche with engraved "Clara / Lutz / Bolling / June 10 / 1910", openwork handle. Impressed axe maker's mark for William B. Kerr & Co. over "STERLING / 1399", impressed "BERRY & WHITMORE CO." retailer's mark, engraved "From Gertrude Lutz" to base. Total weight: 5.455 ozt. Circa 1910. 4 1/2" D rim.
Excellent overall condition with expected minor wear.
Catalogue Note: Clara Lutz Bolling is the niece of Edith Bolling Galt, who was the second wife of President Woodrow Wilson.
