Description

Pair of Cicada wall pockets, a Shirayamadani design, cast in 1922 and covered in green mat glaze. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date and shape 1636. One has a tight 2 inch line descending from the rim, the other has a couple of very short firing separations at the rim, all of which are glaze covered. Height is 8 1/2 inches.
