Description

Loetz Titania vase, Ausfuhrung 140 by designer Franz Hofstoetter circa 1912. An amassment of feathery tips in brilliant cobalt blue appear with a galaxy of bubbles over an encasement of metallic silver gray. The vase has internal ribbing that terminates into a hexagonal base. Height 4 7/8 inches. Mr. Hofstoetter was delegated as the principle designer of Loetz glass for the 1900 Paris Exposition, achieving Grand Prix status for the company. Impressive and showy vessel. Excellent original condition.
