Description
An important scrapbook collection of letters written to Benjamin H. Oehlert, Jr,, who was a Coca-Cola executive, Department of State employee and ambassador to Pakistan. 72 letters detail his friendship with Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson starting in 1959 when Johnson was still a Senator. There are also letters from Hubert Humphrey, Richard Nixon, Dean and Virginia Rust, Jack Valenti, Mohammad Ayub Khan and William Rogers. All appear to be original signatures

Condition
All in good condition, some with slight yellowing, most notable on those from President Khan. Several have check marks, probably from Mr. Oehlert.
