(2) Sets of U.S. Binion Silver Dollars: a)1884O, 1922 B)1885,1922 Ted Binion was a gambler and son of Las Vegas casino magnate Benny Binion, who owned Binion's Horseshoe. Benny lost his gambling license because of tax fraud and Ted took over as manager of the casino. Ted lived the high life and attracted the attention of law enforcement and the Nevada Gaming Commission. When Ted died, police found a 12 ft deep vault beneath one of Ted's properties. The vaars. ult contained six tons of silver bullion, casino chips, currency, and over 100,000 rare coins, including Carson City silver dollars. Hence the name Binion silver dollars.
