PROPERTY OF A PALM BEACH LADY

LOUIS XV/XVI MARBLE TOP BRONZE MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AMD MAHOGANY PARQUETRY SEMINAR
Circa 1775, signed L. Louis AUBRY. The rectangular gray and white mottled marble top above a conforming tulipwood and kingwood parquetry case, with seven drawers. The drawer fronts with quartered veneered panels within a border of alternating fruitwood and ebony on short curved legs. (Losses, repairs to veneer.)

Height 60 in.,
Width 23 in.,
Depth 14 in.
Louis Aubry received maître 1774.

Condition

Condition poor to fair. All original, no or very little restoration but there are numerous loss and loose pieces of veneer. Many present, but others lacking. Mounts practically void of gilt surface, loose chutes, sabots and pulls. Marble is original and nice. Color remains strong throughout. Numerous shrinkage cracks to carcass on sides and front..
