FIRST EDITION OF THIS FAMOUS VENETIAN STORY, CONTINUATION OF THE STORY OF GIOVAN BATTISTA NANI, WRITTEN BY THE FAMOUS VENETIAN HISTORIAN AND POLITICIAN MICHELE FOSCARINI BORN IN THE PARISH OF S. SOFIA IN CANNAREGIO, MARCH 24, 1632.
The Historia della Republica Veneta of the Foscarini extends into seven books, from 1669 to 1690, and was first published in 1696 by his brother Sebastiano, since the author had disappeared without having been able to properly finish the work which was later included in the collection of Venetian public historians.
