(2) Late 19th c. Meissen German Porcelain Figurines, both, after a series of five original figures called 'The Senses' that were modeled in the 1770s by Johann Carl Schoenheit, on shaped bases with pink and gilded highlights, blue crossed swords mark on bases, including: 'The Feeling', depicting a seated 18th c. lady with her pet parrot peaking from a birdcage, with finely modeled openwork lace attire, impressed '122', inscribed 'E.4' and painted '42' on base, 5 3/4" high, 3 3/4" x 3 1/4", repaired thumb, loss of cage finial, under glaze front left corner nick; and 'The Smell', depicting a lady seated by a table with a basket of flowers and smelling a small bouquet, with finely detailed flowers and lace, base impressed '62' and inscribed 'E.5', 5 1/2" high, 4" x 3 1/8", many tiny edge chips to flowers and leaves, firing crack to base under lady's foot.
