**Originally Listed At $500**
Northern Europe, Norway, ca. 1890s CE. An ornate and well-made set of five matched silver and enamel spoons with gorgeous gilding on the bowls of the spoons and filigree cloisonne in white and a pale, cadet blue on the handles and undersides of the bowls. Each is stamped in the upper part of the handle with a maker's mark for David Anderson of Oslo, Norway, and "925", the grade of the silver. These spoons were inspired by the Russian spoons made at the same time. Size of each spoon: 4.4" L x 0.85" W (11.2 cm x 2.2 cm)
Provenance: Ex- Collection of James Farmer, Maryland, collected from major galleries and auction houses between 1995 and 2005

Condition
Three have tiny losses to the enamel at the joint between the bowl and the handle; one has a single scratch to the gilding in the bowl.
