American Rococo Revival Walnut Center Table

third quarter 19th century, the marble top of tortoise form, over a conforming floral-carved frieze, on cabriole legs joined by bowed stretchers centered by a floral-, scroll- and cabochon-carved cartouche.

**In good "as found" refinished condition, with normal minor mars, wear and indications of age and use.

The marble top appears to be of the period/original. It has no breaks or repairs. There are a few typical minor fleabites to the perimeter edge.

The table is stable and functional. There is no movement in the stretchers, which are tight both at their joint and the legs.
