Henricus Engelgrave was a 17th-century Flemish emblematist known primarily for his work ‘Lux Evangelica’. This work was, in its various parts, a collection of Jesuit-centric emblems themed for sermons on religious holidays and saints’ days. (Mansueto, 27). Features 25 impressive engraved emblems, many of which were used to aid in sermons and devotionals.
