Description
NATIVE AMERICAN POTTERY VESSEL, mussel-shell tempered pottery, short neck with two small strap handles, incised linear decoration around top of the spherical body. Excavated in 1978 on the Hanna Site, New Madrid Co., AR. Late Woodland period. 3 1/4" H, 3 3/8" D rim.
Two pinholes to the side of the body, possibly as made, otherwise undamaged with expected wear.
