French Marble Open Escapement Mantle Clock, 19th c., the verde antico marble framed circular enamel dial time and strike clock, with a maker's name of L. Barbaste, Paris, flanked by inlaid marble scrolls, over a beveled glass pendulum window flanked by reeded engaged verde antico marble columns and like inlaid scroll supports, on a stepped base with curved engaged verde antico marble panels, with a bronze temperature compensating lyre pendulum, H.- 17 3/4 in., W.- 15 in., D.- 7 in.
