Description

American Sheraton mahogany one-drawer canterbury with four periodicals slots, on metal casters, circa 1790, retains the original key, in the drawer a 1920s-era business card from the famous antiques dealer Arthur Stannis Vernay, No. 19 East 54th Street, New York. 18.5" X 15.5" square. Drawer with replaced lock plate, oval brass pull possibly replaced, drawer interior with tape glue remnants.
