VINTAGE 1940S LACE & JET BEAD DRESS:
The top of the dress is a nude chiffon with black lace overlay. Jet beads border the neckline and the bottom of the peplum. Floral pattern is in two panels down the front and on the back of the peplum. There is a small slit in the front of the black crepe skirt. Mid calf length. Has shoulderpads. With self belt. Single covered button closure at the neck and left side zipper. In a rare, larger size.



Provenance: Purchased 20 years ago at a New York City couture vintage shop from the estate of an opera singer.
