Description
"Marilyn" (Black) from the "Marilyn Monroe" portfolio, the series of ten, screenprint printed in colors,, 1967, signed in pencil on the reverse, an artist's proof lettered W, aside from the nubered edition of 250 (there were 26 artist proofs designated A-Z,, as published by Factory Additons, New York; printed by Aetna Silkscreen Products Inc., N.Y.
Literature: Recorded and illustrated in the standard text on the original graphics of the artist by Feldman and Shellmann (1997), No. II-29.

Framing: Archival framing.
Comment: This late addition lot to be auctioned at the end of sale. All usual warranty provisions in effect. Work can be shipped in frame as glazed with UV3 plexiglass.
Condition
This work is in very fine condition. It was examined very closely in the frame and the condition was as when delivered in 2002. At that time this house examined the work out of the frame when and found no damage. The work is framed with UV-3 plexiglass to screen out UV damage. The work has hung in a dark hallway without direct sun exposure. The work is floated in the frame and held in place with plastic triangular corners with no adhesive used directly on the print.
