A RATTANAKOSIN (1782-1932) GILT BRONZE STANDING BUDDHA, RAMA I/RAMA II OF THE CHAKRI DYNASTY PERIOD (1782-1824), THAILAND, with a gesture of double Abhaya Mudra, the pointed flowering crown over a peaceful, outwardly gaze, centering a third eye, over a concentric collar and vest with lotus blooms, centering a chest plate, flanked by two arms showing palms with flowers, a beautiful robe and skirt with profuse floral details, standing on pointed toe shoes, and raised on a lotus bloom circular base, to a graduating octagonal plinth. Height: 28" Diameter: 8"

Some loss of gilt throughout, greenish patina throughout, possible repair/break at ankles, mild losses, dust debris, traces of original red paint and gilt, and overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age.
