A GERMAN GILT METAL MOUNTED POLYCHROME ENAMEL DECORATED PORCELAIN JEWELRY BOX, CIRCA 1940-1960, of shaped bombe form, with Imari style and palate flowers in vase reserved decoration on the top with gilt scroll decorated dark blue border, the sides with reserved floral decoration with matching border, gilt metal mount with rope decoration and clasp, marked "8921" on the bottom. Height: 4 1/4" Width: 10 3/8" Depth: 6 1/4"

Condition

In overall fair to good condition with no evidence of chips, cracks, or repairs to the porcelain, minor rubbing to gilt decoration, minor firing inclusions.
