Description
The Daytona 6239 is where it all began, it's the watch that made the present day Daytona "fever" happen. The ref. 6239 became the first chronograph to be formally designated with the "Daytona" moniker. And featured here is a special example of a 6239. This Daytona bears an early serial pointing at a 1964 manufacture and features a first series dial with the absence of the "Daytona" printing. Furthermore is fitted with an early "300 unit" bezel.
Condition
The watch is in pre-owned condition, case is good and showing apparent light scratches. Dial is original and not refinished. Movement is good and is running in apparent full functionality.
