Chinese Ming jar with a large bulbous body with a hardwood lid and foot base. Large shoulder slimming downward to a flat foot. Exterior depicts a glorious dragon soaring amongst stylized flames and clouds in hand painted details. hardwood stand and lid are carved in relief details with a finial knob for ease of removing. The underbase left unglazed reveal a pale creme ground with orange-brown and dark spots of firing mark. Ming Dynasty.
