A scarce Scottish provincial silver vase shape pounce pot or sander by Robert Keay I or II, Perth early 19th century, with a turned finial to the screw-on cap, a screw-on domed cover, engraved with scroll foliage around a vacant reserve, 10cm (4in) high, 76g (2.45 oz)Robert Keay I started using a rectangular punch in about 1812. His nephew continued to use this punch after 1839.
