Description
Includes a George IV English silver round covered tray with foliate form finial - stamped to both tray and lid with hallmarks of London, most probably Joseph Angell I?, 1828. Accompanied by an English silver cruet set comprised by a George III footed tray with four compartments - stamped with George III duty mark, lion passant, partial maker's mark, and a date letter of 1814?; an English silver mounted mustard pot - lion passant, date letter of 1840?, and maker's mark of "RD" possibly representing Robert Death; a decanter with later stopper - chips to shaft; a cut glass shaker with probably silverplate cap; and a cut glass shaker with English silver cap - George III duty marks, lion passant, JE&X Co, and additional unidentified pictorial hallmark. Total approx. weight of cruet stand and covered tray is 31.78 troy. From a Manhattan, NY estate. Dimensions: covered tray measures approx. 7.5" diameter x 4.5" h.
