Circa 1860
Two panels finely woven of indigo blue, brown, and raveled lac and cochineal dyed red yarns, 2 pieces
The first: 50" H x 34" W; the second: 51" H x 36" W
Notes: Dye samples were sent to Dr. David Wenger, Ph.D., of Thomas Jefferson University for testing. Dr. Wenger found that the blue samples were dyed with indigo, while all red samples were dyed with lac and cochineal dyes (approximately a 50/50 ratio). The dye test results will be included with the lot.

Condition
Overall good condition with scattered minor pulled threads. One with approximately five spots of soiling to one face, the largest 1" x .75". One with fabric sleeves sewn on to each end and approximately three low spots exposing warps, the largest spot approximately .25" x .75".
