Condition
In generally very good, previously restored condition. Canvas relined, retained original stretcher bars
and tacking edges. Surface dirt, toning of varnish layer, craquelure pattern visible, stretcher bar marks
visible. Areas of inpainting lower center (brown rock), center right (torso of figure with crown), lower right
(leg, torso and centaur's leg), lower mid-left (nude female's leg, back and buttocks) and mid-left with
possible repaired tear (face of woman with harp and sky). Small scattered areas of inpainting mid-right
(figures) and lower left (clouds). Areas of inpainting lower right corner, mid-left (nude figure closest to
edge) and mid-center (red figure). Frame with surface marks, nicks and abrasions.
