Two 19th century reproduction engravings in handsome ebonized ornate picture frames: I. THE ELEPHANT AND CASTLE ON THE BRIGHTON ROAD by James Pollard; II. THE MAIL ARRIVING AT TEMPLE BAR by C.B. Newhouse (1805-1877), an artist best remembered for The Roadsters Album, and his scenes of mail and stage coaching. Marked underneath each print with names of engravers etc.

Below the picture reads PAINTED BY JAMES POLLARD LONDON, PUBLISHED FEB. 7. 1826 BY J. WATSON 7. VERE STREET. ENGRAVED BY THEODORE FIELDING. THE ELEPHANT AND CASTLE ON THE BRIGHTON ROAD. II.
